As part of the 2nd International Symposium on Materials, Environmental Sciences and Hygiene (ISMESH 2), held on October 16th, 2025 at the Higher School of Technology of Fez, Professor Dalila Bousta, Director of the National Agency of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (ANPMA), delivered the inaugural conference of the opening session titled:
“Value Chain of Medicinal Plants: From Resource to Innovation.”
During her lecture, Prof. Bousta presented ANPMA as a model of excellence and innovation in the scientific and economic valorization of medicinal and aromatic plants, emphasizing the importance of integrated research and collaboration between academia, industry, and public institutions.
This conference served as a major platform for discussion and exchange among researchers, industrials, and PhD students, highlighting ANPMA’s key role in knowledge transfer, applied research, and the promotion of Morocco’s botanical heritage.
