On October 3, 2024, the National Agency of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (ANPMA) held a scientific conference in its conference hall. The event kicked off with an overview of the agency presented by Prof. Dalila BOUSTA, Director of ANPMA, who outlined the agency’s key missions in advancing medicinal and aromatic plants research and development.
Prof. Ömer Suat TAŞKIN, a renowned specialist in marine engineering, chemistry, and materials science from Istanbul University, followed with a presentation on Self-Healing Polymers and Li-ion Battery Applications. Dr. Tuba ÜNSAL ÖZGÜVENÇ, an expert in microbiology and engineering, discussed Smart Nanoparticles: An eco-friendly and cost-effective solution to mitigate microbiological corrosion in marine environments.
The ANPMA scientific team greatly benefited from the wealth of knowledge and expertise shared during the conference, further strengthening their research capacities in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants.
