The National Agency of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (ANPMA) participated in the 7th International Symposium on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (SIPAM-7), held from April 11 to 13, 2025, in Djerba, Tunisia, under the theme:

 “Valorization of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants in Green and Sustainable Economies.”

This high-level scientific event gathered over 250 experts, researchers, institutional leaders, and stakeholders from more than 20 countries. It served as a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing on the research, innovation, and sustainable development of MAPs.

On this occasion, ANPMA Director, Prof. Dalila Bousta, delivered her plenary conference titled:

“Valorization of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants: Challenges and Perspectives for Sustainable Development in Morocco”

Her intervention highlighted ANPMA’s strategic role in:

  • Structuring the MAP sector at the national level,
  • Advancing research & development and public-private partnerships,
  • Fostering international cooperation for a strategic and efficient coordination of the sector.
